The Deputy Minister of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan explained: "Due to the flow of water, the pollution was scattered in the sea in the form of several small spots, which the cleanup teams managed to contain and remove."
The deputy maritime director of the General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan said: "Following the discharge of oil from a ship in the Persian Gulf and polluting the marine environment, the offending ship was seized."
