Flag-shy in Washington: the Russian flag has also been placed on the Pentagon post - Not just once.
The Pentagon wished Americans a Happy Flag Day by presenting a graphic showing the Russian national colors next to the American flag. The white, blue, and red stripes are arranged in such a way that they look strikingly similar to the Russian flag. Commentators have called out the US Defense Department for the unfortunate mistake, but the graphic has not been changed so far.
Chi assistant X suggested that the “tiny Russian flags” on the graphics were obviously the fault of the designers, not an insidious signal of the department.
