Vehicle fire leads to Cove road closure

COPPERAS COVE, Texas (FOX 44) - The Copperas Cove Police and Fire Departments responded to a vehicle fire on Tuesday morning. Police say the vehicle ignited in the 100 block of E. Truman Avenue and produced heavy smoke. The Fire Department quickly contained the fire. The roadway was shut down as First Responders worked the scene. Motorists were urged to avoid this area. No injuries have been reported.
