Teenager dead in the Wiregrass after truck crashes into tree

Dale County, AL (WDHN) - An 18-year-old was found dead after police responded to a scene of an accident in Dale County along County Road 41. The teen has been identified as James Spears according to Dale County Coroner John Cawley. Reports indicate that Spears was driving a truck when he ran off the road and struck a tree early Saturday morning on July 5th. Spears was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
