The ESTUDES 2025 survey reveals that four out of ten young people aged 14 to 18 have used e-cigarettes in the last year in Castilla-La Mancha, a higher proportion than traditional smoking. While classical substances fall back to minimum levels, the region maintains one of the country’s earliest starting ages in tobacco, alcohol and cannabis.

The Alcohol and Society Foundation (FAS) has expressed its satisfaction with the results of the latest Survey on Drug Use in Secondary Education (ESTUDES 2025), presented on Wednesday by the Ministry of Health and the Government Delegation for the National Drug Plan, which reflect a historical and widespread decline in the use of psychoactive substances among young people aged 14 to 18.
