A serious incident of vandalism occurred today (Sunday) at the Ridvz Synagogue in Safed, which serves as the main synagogue of the Lithuanian community in the south of the city. An unknown person entered the synagogue at noon, destroyed holy books, smashed lamps, broke chairs and caused extensive damage to the place.
