LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas metro area's unemployment rate increased in June, moving from 5.5% up to 5.8%, according to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR). Last week, the state's June unemployment rate came in at 5.4%, down slightly from 5.5% in May.
