On June 21, 2019, Evaëlle, an 11-year-old middle school student, a victim of school bullying, hanged herself at her home in Herblay, in Val-d'Oise.Her French teacher was referred to the criminal court for “harassing a minor under 15 years of age.
The teacher is accused of having participated in the harassment of Evaëlle, of having “regularly humiliated” her and of having “isolated” her, contributing to the suicide of the young girl at the age of 11 in 2019.
Nearly 4 years after the suicide of Evaëlle, 11, a victim of harassment at her junior high school in Herblay, her teacher is sent back to correctional services for harassing a minor.
She will be judged for having “degraded the living conditions” of the teenager who committed suicide in 2019 following the harassment of her classmates in her middle school in Val-d'Oise.
