The number of returns has increased due to the police's intensified control of foreigners, Uutissuomalainen reported. The police have removed more than 1,350 foreigners from Finland by the end of June, Uutissuomalainen reported. The number is 32 percent more than at the same time last year. Last year, the police removed just over 2,200 people from the country, while in 2022 the number was just over 1,700.
