A man has been charged with conspiracy to defraud elderly people after reports of multiple people being targeted.

The police are warning of a new wave of fraud targeting the elderly. The phenomenon is called physical vishing and involves scammers first calling and then making home visits. Over ten cases per day have been reported in the past week.
