U.S. Rowing names Nick Mead Man of the Year

U.S. Rowing last week named Nick Mead its Man of the Year for 2024 as part of its annual awards. Mead, an Episcopal Academy grad, was part of the American men’s four that won gold at the Paris Olympics. He was selected by Team USA athletes to be the male flagbearer for the Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics, joining female swimmer Katie Ledecky. He’s the first American rower to get that honor.
