Equinor ASA and Orsted A/S said they are engaging with US authorities over security concerns tied to their offshore wind projects, after the Trump administration issued another round of work suspension orders.
It's well known that US President Donald Trump is no fan of wind power. Now he's taking action and halting all major offshore wind projects off the US East Coast. Among those affected is the Danish energy company Ørsted, whose shares have plummeted by double digits.
Ørsted is considering possible legal action after the US put contracts for offshore wind farms on hold.
