U.S. men's hockey eyes first Olympic gold in 46 years against Canada

On Friday, the United States men's ice hockey team routed Slovakia 6-2 at Milano Santagiulia Arena, clinching a spot in the final against Canada on Sunday, Feb. 22.

The final will be televised on NBC and USA Network and streamed on Peacock/NBCOlympics.com, with a U.S. win delivering men's and women's Olympic hockey golds for the first time.
The U.S. last reached the final in 2010, seeking its first men's hockey Olympic gold since 1980, after recent meetings at the 4 Nations Face‑Off.
