- Ben Freeman, an analyst at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, warned the provision is 'unprecedented,' stating it would provide higher military-industrial integration than the United States maintains with any other country.
- While the United States 'has worked closely with its NATO partners,' this proposal expands coordination to artificial intelligence, quantum, and autonomous systems, surpassing the traditional aid model exceeding $200 billion since 1948.
- By expanding co-production facilities in Mississippi and Arkansas, the Israeli government could increase influence over Congress, analysts caution, potentially making the U.S. political system more susceptible to an Israeli government's Middle East actions.
- An Institute for Global Affairs poll released earlier this week found just 16 percent of Americans support supplying Israel with weapons without restrictions, while Sen. Chris Van Hollen criticized the Democratic Party for providing reflexive support.
