US aims for international Gaza force deployment early next year, say US officials
The UN Security Council authorized a multinational force to stabilize Gaza and support Israeli withdrawal, with over 25 countries expected to participate, officials said.

- The U.N. Security Council gave the ISF a demilitarization mandate to work with newly trained Palestinian police, and U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz said this can include use of force, but officials told Reuters the ISF would not fight Hamas.
- Indonesia said it is prepared to deploy up to 20,000 troops for health and construction tasks in Gaza Strip, with nearly 2 million residents affected, and Gen. Rico Sirait said `It is still in the planning and preparation stages`.
