Upstate NY graduate who planned to join Air Force killed in motorcycle crash days after finishing school

A recent Upstate New York high school graduate was killed last week in a head-on collision between his motorcycle and a car, according to the New York State Police.Investigators determined that Ryan Conklin, 18, was traveling on a 2024 Yamaha Chappy westbound on State Route 52 in Ellenville at approximately 7:19 p.m. on July 2 when he lost control and crossed the center line into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
