New Delhi, Sep 30 (IANS) Major trade bodies have withdrawn their call for a proposed No UPI Day on October 2 following a meeting with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The decision was taken after a meeting in the national capital on Wednesday in which the trading community expressed their opposition to the proposed 0.5% tax on merchant UPI transactions of over ₹2,000.
