Hastings police are investigating a fire at the former Convent of the Holy Child Jesus on Magdalen Road in St Leonards as arson. The blaze was reported at around 17.00 on Thursday 9 July and ultimately eight fire engines attended, coming from as far away as Eastbourne and Heathfield.
