Yosemite and Yosemite Valley are under an updated weather alert for strong thunderstorms by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 5:51 p.m. The alert is in effect until 6:15 p.m. The storms are anticipated to bring marble-sized hail (0.5 inches). “At 5:51 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm near Yosemite Valley, or 18 miles northeast of Yosemite South Entrance, moving southwest at 5 mph,” according to the NWS Hanford CA. “Min…
