SE Bend police standoff ends as two people surrender, one a fugitive arrested on a statewide warrant

Several armed Bend Police officers and two armored vehicles surrounded a southeast Bend apartment in a standoff for about an hour Wednesday afternoon, calling on someone inside to come out with their hands up or force could be used. Two people eventually came out and were detained.

Man with felony warrant arrested after heavy police presence in SE Bend Wednesday

A man and woman were taken into custody peacefully following a large police presence near Vince Genna Stadium in SE Bend Wednesday. The response brought out SWAT and closed off a couple of streets.
