A Hixson man is facing first-degree murder charges in connection with a shooting near the Missionary Ridge Tunnel that killed a 29-year-old man, according to an affidavit.

Police make arrest in Brainerd Road homicide

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) has made an arrest in connection to a Brainerd Road homicide. On August 17, 2025, at 4:02 a.m. CPD officers responded to the 3200 block of Brainerd Road on reports of a person shot.
