Silver alert issued for Skowhegan man

The Maine State Police issued a silver alert Sunday evening for 71-year-old Michael Michaud of Skowhegan.  Michaud, who suffers from cognitive issues, left his home on Russell Road on foot, police said at 7:30 p.m. He is a white male, stands 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.    Michaud was last seen walking on Russell Road wearing a long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and L.L. Bean boots.

SKOWHEGAN — A 71-year-old man who had been the subject of a Silver Alert was located and is safe, Maine State Police announced. Michael Michaud of Skowhegan had left his home on Russell Road on foot earlier. Police had issued the Silver Alert because Michaud suffers from cognitive issues.
