- Metallica, who ended the North American leg of their M72 World Tour, will perform a half-hour set including their own songs and a Black Sabbath track at the concert.
- Ozzy Osbourne said, "I'm giving 120 per cent" despite health challenges including Parkinson’s, while the concert is expected to boost Birmingham's economy by £20 million.
- The festival will attract around 300,000 visitors, with music venues, cafes, and bars in Birmingham set to benefit from the large influx during this major cultural weekend.
