SFRS has handed over control of the site of a major Glasgow fire to Glasgow City Council

This marks the end of firefighting at the site of the fire on Union Street, which resulted in the collapse of a historic Glasgow building, and the beginning of the recovery phase. Public safety remains the top priority and work will now begin to assess the remaining structure and establish a safe zone while this work is underway.
