The area surrounding Bud Holmes Road experienced damage from a severe storm around including downed powerlines, trees, and structural damage. Following the storm, Pinson Mayor Hoyt Sanders stated, “we are requesting extreme caution. There will be workers in the streets throughout the night from Alabama Power and Public Works, as well as Jefferson County Roads and Transportation. We encourage everyone to avoid Main Street from 75 to Goodwin Rd.” …
