CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Weather has once again intervened in another IRONMAN competition. IRONMAN 70.3 officials they are cancelling the swimming part of the triathlon for safety reasons. The flow rate of the Tennessee River could hit 50,000 cubic feet per second on Sunday, which is more than double the normal speed at Ross’s Landing.
