St. Clair officials weigh sewer fee changes

St. Clair officials are considering changes to the city’s wastewater fee structure that would place more of the cost of its pretreatment program on the industries that use it.

CLAIR COUNTY — Debris in the roadway has caused a lane closure, according to Senior Trooper Vu Quang of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. “The northbound lanes of Interstate 59 at Exit 166 (Ashville) in St. Clair County are currently blocked and will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.” Quang said. “The northbound traffic will be diverted off at Exit 166 and will be able to go back on.” Troopers with th…
