On Tuesday at 9:37 p.m. an updated high wind warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Grande Ronde Valley, Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon as well as Wallowa County.The weather service comments, "South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected."
