Update: Flash flood warning affecting Alcona and Oscoda counties until Monday afternoon

An updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 3:28 a.m. EDT in effect until 3:30 p.m. EDT for Alcona and Oscoda counties."At 3:28 a.m., dam operators reported the floodgates on the Mio Dam were opened causing flash flooding downstream on the Au Sable River," according to the weather service. "Flooding of areas along the river immediately downstream of the dam."
