Road in Washington closed following a power outage
WASHINGTON, N.C. (WNCT) -- Due to a power outage, 15th Street Extension between Whispering Pines and 264 is closed. This power outage was caused by a damaged utility pole. Crews are on site working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. The City of Washington is advising people to avoid this area and use caution.
