- On Tuesday, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced 46 new criminal investigations and issued four subpoenas targeting Smart & Safe Florida and its contractors, while records show about 50 petition circulators submitted more than 21,600 petitions.
- Recently obtained documents show Smart & Safe Florida knew about over 21,000 suspicious petitions and says it segregates these and reports discrepancies to Secretary of State Cord Byrd as required.
