Ghana Anti-Graft Agency Probes Extortion Allegations Against Minority Leader Afenyo-Markin

Ghana’s Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has announced that it is assessing allegations of extortion and related conduct made against the Minority Leader of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, following petitions submitted to the anti-corruption agency. The allegations were publicly raised by the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, against Afenyo-Markin.
