Uniformed personnel held in prison in Ecuador released

Seven guides who were held for 18 hours by inmates in prison in the Ecuadorian province of Chimborazo were released today and handed over to the National Police. According to a report by the Ecuavisa channel, the inmates, as a gesture of surrender, placed white flags on the screens of the prison, seeking that the authorities would regain control of the prison.
