The Hungarian government is studying a law to reorganize or dissolve the authority that oversees gambling and withdraw its powers over concessions, after it extended the Sopron casino license without bidding until 2061. The measure also reopens the debate on the independence of the agency and its previous role in regulating cryptocurrency conversions.
