42-year-old Marek-Russek Volski has been helping Ukrainians since the beginning of the full-scale war and will be buried in Poland.
A farewell was paid in Kyiv to Polish volunteer Marek Rusek-Wolski, who died in Ukraine as a result of Russian military operations. "His tragic death once again reminds us of what Russian aggression is. It knows no borders, it ignores nationality—it destroys everything. But it will never destroy allied Ukrainian-Polish cooperation," said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
The funeral of Marek Rusek-Wolski, a Polish volunteer killed in Ukraine by a Russian drone, was held Friday at the Roman Catholic Co-Cathedral of St. Alexander in Kyiv. He helped residents of areas near the front, delivering food and medicine, and participating in evacuations.
