The network operated in several regions of Ukraine and provided Russia's military intelligence service, known as the GRU, with photos of planes, their crews, ground personnel and the times of takeoffs and landings, the SBU said. The military counterintelligence carried out the operation under the personal coordination of SBU chief Oleksandr Poklad, in cooperation with the Lviv regional prosecutor's office.
