Ukraine is launching a new "Army of Robots", the country's former defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced on Saturday, as the country steps up its push to bring more machines into warfare to minimise the loss of human lives on the frontlines.
Ukrainian businessman and former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has announced a new project called "Army of Robots," which aims to accelerate the robotization of war and transfer some of the most dangerous tasks from soldiers to machines. He presented the project today at the IT Arena 2026 conference in Lviv. With a video made with the help of artificial intelligence, he is trying to attract foreign and domestic investment.
