The Ukrainian forces have acknowledged that the Russian army has headed into the Asian industrial region Dnipropetrovsk and is trying to establish it there. "It is the first attack of such expansion in the Dnipropetrovsk region," said Viktor Trehubov, of the Dnipro Group's Operational-Strategic Body, although he explained that the enemy's advance has been stopped.
