UK travel company ceases trading after 40 years - see if your holiday is affected
Frasers Travel Ltd said customers with existing bookings should email for help after the company closed, joining several UK travel firms that shut this year.
After 40 years, Saltcoats, Ayrshire-based Frasers Travel confirmed it has ceased trading today, taking its website offline.
Founded in 1986, the agency previously served clients with trips to the Caribbean, Spain, and Australia before the announcement.
The company described itself as providing "luxurious long-haul destinations to fantastic short-haul holiday packages," stating, "We would like to thank all our past clients for their loyalty and support."
ABTA advises customers to check their ATOL Certificate to identify their tour operator and contact the Credit Control Department, while Frasers Travel directs email inquiries to info@mclenancorporate.com.
This closure follows a wave of shutdowns across the UK travel industry this year, as Ascend Airways, EcoJet Airlines, and Zenith Aviation Limited have also entered administration or liquidation.
