The Portuguese embassy in Tehran was reopened on Sunday, after being closed in mid-June, and was the first to be reopened between European congeners.
"We have reopened our Embassy in Tehran after a temporary closure and there is already a manager," said Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hamish Falconer, in the British Parliament, where he assured that London will continue to work "to ensure the safety of British citizens in Iran."
