UK housing developer enters liquidation after four years
Wolseley UK’s petition led to a court-ordered shutdown and the appointment of UHY Hacker Young LLP liquidators, Companies House said.
- On September 17, a notice confirmed the liquidation of Pearcroft Homes, with liquidators Paraskevi Iacovou and Peter Kubik of UHY Hacker Young LLP appointed on September 8.
- The winding-up process began in April 2023 after Wolseley submitted a petition to Companies House, prompting District Judge Mantle to issue a high court closure order in October 2023.
- Before liquidation, Pearcroft Homes claimed to achieve average carbon emissions of-0.5 tonnes and promoted itself as being "on a mission to build a positive and sustainable legacy for future generations."
