CLOVER, S.C. – A now-former York County Sheriff’s deputy and another woman have been arrested for felony ill treatment of animals. Amari Anne Mitchell (L) is the former deputy. She and Kaitlyn Johnson were arrested last week after an investigation found Mitchell had left her dog outside for several days without adequate food, water or shelter. Mitchell has been let go from the Sheriff’s Office.
