(WLAX/WEUX) – The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of two people who were found in a river. The sheriff's office got a call around 2:45 last Sunday that someone found what appeared to be a body in a river northeast of Tomah. Authorities say the two found had left a bar the night before and no one had seen them since. The sheriff's office says foul play is not suspected.
