Two people die in horse-and-carriage crash in Gloucestershire
- Two people from Worcestershire were killed in a crash on the A38 north of junction 1 of the M50. The crash involved a blue Volkswagen Golf and a horse-and-trap, resulting in the deaths of the two men riding in the trap and the horse.
- The incident occurred at around 11.35pm on Friday, September 15. Closures are in place at the junction and towards Upton while a full investigation into the collision is underway. Gloucestershire Police have asked witnesses or individuals with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
- No other individuals were injured in the collision. The coroner has been informed and anybody who may have been in the area at the time of the crash is urged to contact the authorities.
