Police arrested two wanted accused in the Muzaffarnagar minor rape case after an encounter in Reta Nangla forest. The arrests followed a search operation based on a tip-off and led to the recovery of illegal weapons.
Police have taken major action in the case of the rape of a 14-year-old girl in Muzaffarnagar. During a siege in the Reta Nangla forest, two wanted suspects opened fire on police. In retaliatory fire, both were shot in the leg and were subsequently arrested and taken to the hospital. Police recovered two pistols and cartridges from them.
