Two men are on the run after a home was firebombed in Sydney's west.

Police are investigating an apparent firebombing in Penrith overnight. About 10pm last night, emergency services were called to a home Hope Street, Penrith following reports of a fire. Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the fire; however, the front door of the home sustained significant damage. There were no reports of injuries.
