Two men charged with murder in connection to 2023 shooting of VSU student Brianna Long

Two alleged gang members charged in murder of former Georgia high school soccer star Brianna Long — over a year after killing

Tsion Clayton, 23, and Kimone Green, 21, were both charged with one count of malice murder on Tuesday for the killing of 21-year-old Brianna Long, The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) said in a press release.

Both are in custody on separate, unrelated cases with one in Georgia and the other in Florida, according to the GBI press release.

Briana Long, killed by a bullet lost in 2023, was a well-known footballer. One evening in October, she was hit by a shot before dying in the hospital. More than a year and a half later, two men, aged 21 and 23, were arrested.
