Two men charged for 2019 Kamloops murder of Penticton man
Police say the seven-year-old homicide may have been a case of mistaken identity and was linked to another fatal shooting.
- On Saturday, Kamloops RCMP charged Hugh Alexander McIntosh, 58, and Brandon Dale Fiddick, 34, with the second-degree murder of Rex Gill, ending a seven-year investigation into the 2019 killing.
- Gill was killed outside a Kamloops hotel in January 2019, one of two fatal shootings occurring about an hour and a half apart that year. Police believe the killing was a case of mistaken identity.
