Eijiro Shibata, Director-General of the Okinawa Labor Bureau (pictured), who will assume the position of Planning Officer for Corporate Human Resource Development Support at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in April, visited the Okinawa Times office in Naha City on the 24th to say goodbye. Reflecting on his time working in Okinawa, he said, "It has been two years of dizzying changes, such as the increase in the minimum wage."
