Two Doors Down Will Return for Eighth Season
The BBC said the Glasgow sitcom will continue after a comeback last Christmas drew several sold-out Hydro gigs.
The BBC confirmed that Scottish sitcom Two Doors Down will return for an eighth series, bringing the Latimer Crescent residents back to screens.
Following co-creator Simon Carlyle's death in 2023 at age 48, cast members initially believed the show was over; a 2025 Christmas special enabled this continuation.
Writer Gregor Sharp is penning the six-part series, with original cast members Arabella Weir and Alex Norton reprising roles as Beth and Eric Baird.
Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy, praised the show's 13-year legacy, stating, "We're really proud to bring it back for another series."
While a broadcast date remains unset, fans can see the cast perform live at Glasgow's OVO Hydro later this year during September and October performances.
